Our course covers Class 9 Lithium Ion Batteries UN3480, UN3481, Lithium metal UN3090 and UN3091 by Sea and road, under the conditions specified within Special Provision 188.
Our Special Provision 188 by Sea & Road training is for employees that work in an environment where low level Lithium ion or Lithium Metal batteries are handled and prepared for shipping. The course concludes with a knowledge test.
Successful candidates receive a Sea & Road certificate of competence, valid for two years, after which they must re-validate their qualification.
Access to the current IMDG and ADR regulations are required, this can be purchased along with the course.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites required, however it is always good to have a base understanding through a Dangerous Goods Awareness course or having an overview of the products that are dangerous in your workplace.

Who Should Attend
Any Employees that ship and move lithium batteries by Sea and Road. If the batteries they transport are within the following measurement;
Lithium Ion Batteries under 100 watt hours / Cells under 20 watt hours
Lithium metal Batteries underv 2 grams / Cells under 1 gram of lithium content.
